Ting at foretage sig på Rembrandt Husmuseum
Huset for den vigtigste maler i det 17. århundrede ligger i nærheden af Amsterdams Chinatown og lige bag ved Red Light District, i nærheden af Waterlooplein. Her levede Rembrandt mellem 1639 og 1659. Hele huset er blevet renoveret med møbler, kunst og varer fra disse tider, intet mangler: hans studie, hans værelser og hans kunst. Huset fortæller historien om Rembrandt som person, kunstner, lærer, samler, forretningsmand og borger i Amsterdam. I 1998 blev der bygget et moderne annex ved siden af, og sammen er disse to bygninger i dag et museum for livet og arbejdet for Rembrandt.
