Ved det idylliske Herrenhausen Slot ligger De Kongelige Haver - også kaldet Herrenhauser Garten - som er nogle af Europas flotteste. Haverne blev skabt af Kurfyrstinde Sofia af Hannover og er et øjebliksbillede på hendes passion for naturen. I ægte barokstil er der et klart link til Versailles med inspiration fra Kong Louis d. 14. Forvent ting som enorme vandfontæner, labyrintiske stier indrammet af blomsterbede, perfekte velplejede hække og endda en grotte fra 1671. Magien stopper dog ikke her. Vær opmærksom på særlige begivenheder som International Fireworks Competition eller lysshow om aftenen, som begge giver haven et ekstra strejf af farverigdom.
