Castelo de São Jorge, også kendt som Lissabon-slottet, hviler over byen Lissabon med dens monumentale byggeri fra det 12.-14. århundrede. Oplev de to adskilte dele af slottet - det ældre mauriske slot og det nyere kongeslot. En stor del af slottet blev ødelagt i jordskælvet i 1755 i Lissabon, men takket være et restaurering projekt i 1920 forbliver slottet meget tæt på det oprindelige byggeri. Castelo de São Jorge er den mest populære turistattraktion i Lissabon, så vi anbefaler, at man booker billetter forud for at springe over de lange køer i indgangen, især i sommermånederne. For færre mennersker, overvej at besøge i morgentimerne.
