Den enorme røde hængebro 25. april-broen (Ponte 25 de Abril), minder om San Franciscos Golden Gate Bridge, er en af Lissabons mest berømte vartegn. Broen forbinder Lissabon med Almada Kommunen på Tagus-flodens sydlige bred. Fra 1966 til 1974 hed broen oprindeligt Salazar-broen (Ponte Salazar) til ære for den Portugisiske premierminister António de Oliveira Salazar. Efter Nellikerevolutionen, der overvandt de sidste rester af Salazars diktatur, blev broen omdøbt til 25. april-broen, dagen for revolutionen.
