Join this 4x4 tour of Madeira and discover the west of the island and the Fanal Forest.

The adventure starts in Ponta do Sol, which is considered the warmest village on the island. Then, you'll go from 0 to 1,500 meters through ancient roads built during the early 15th century. Paul da Serra is the largest and most extensive plateau of the island of Madeira with about 24 km² and an average altitude of approximately 1500 meters. This flattest area of Madeira is a contrast with the rest of the island.

Afterward, you'll explore the fascinating landscapes along the North coast of Madeira. Pure air and mysterious wilderness in a journey through the indigenous “Laurissilva”, the subtropical forest of Fanal. You'll discover beautiful villages on the outstanding Northern Sea coast, abundant in waterfalls. Continue to Porto Moniz, which is known for its natural volcanic pools.

Finally, you'll visit the spectacular 360º viewpoint Relógio de Água from the secluded valley of São Vicente.

    What a brilliant trip. As a family of four (children 15 and 10), we all had a great day, our best trip of the week. Jaz was a brilliant guide, very informative and fun.     Fantastic trip, thought we’d never stop climbing and some of those inclines, hairpins, descents & views - wow! So glad we took up the offered lunch meal deal at Porto Moniz, my partner is coeliac but it was all phoned through, changes made no problems and food was excellent & served with a sea view.
