Due to the extremely high visitors’ volume and internal policies, Auschwitz-Birkenau reserves the right to cancel tours or guides at any time, even a few days or hours before the visit. If this happens, you will be informed and if possible, offered an alternative date or program
  • All visitors are required to pass through security checks before entering the museum grounds
  • The journey to the Museum and Memorial in Auschwitz-Birkenau takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes
  • The tour of the camp in Auschwitz ll will take around 3.5 hours
  • The pace and duration of the tours are determined by the memorial's visitor service

  • Every guest must carry an ID or passport matching the name and surname provided at checkout, which will also be reflected on your museum entrance ticket
  • Packed lunch and drinks
  • Comfortable shoes are recommended
