Discover the breathtaking beauty of the Alps on this all-day excursion from Milan, featuring a ride on the iconic red train of Bernina. Your journey commences with a luxury coach ride through the scenic Lombardy region, meandering past delightful hamlets, verdant vineyards, and the serene waters of Lake Como.

Your railway adventure begins at either Tirano or St. Moritz, subject to availability, and takes you on one of the world’s steepest and most visually striking railways. Ascending over 1,800 meters via the UNESCO-recognised Bernina route, you'll be captivated by monumental glaciers, tumbling waterfalls, untouched alpine lakes, and majestic mountain peaks as the train navigates tunnels and bridges, offering unparalleled vistas of the Alps.

In St. Moritz, Switzerland’s premier mountain resort, relish some free time to amble along the glacial lake, explore cobbled lanes, peruse high-end boutiques, or simply bask in the sophistication of this legendary location. The journey carries on to Tirano, a delightful Mediterranean town nestled amongst mountains and adorned with palms and oleanders. Meander its historic lanes, savour authentic local dishes, and soak up the inviting warmth of its inhabitants.

Wrap up your adventure with a tranquil coach ride back to Milan, brimming with memories of awe-inspiring landscapes and timeless alpine allure.

The best excursion I have ever done in any of my many vacations over the past 40 years! I highly recommend this day trip. You will be blown away by the beauty of nature at it's finest. My only regret is at the end of the tour our super amazing and personable left without me getting to thank him.
