The tour heads through the Sonoran Desert toward the mountain city of Flagstaff, which is just beneath the San Francisco Peaks, the biggest mountain range in Arizona. The next stop is Antelope Canyon, a slot canyon of deep red-rock chasms that were produced by water erosion over thousands of years. Hike through the canyon with a local guide from the Navajo community who will tell you the history, culture, and geology of the region. Gaze upon the sunlight that filters down through the cracks above as you peruse the walkways that lie between the walls surrounding you. After, head to the shores of Lake Powell, a massive reservoir on the Colorado River that straddles the Utah border. Next on the itinerary is Page, where you'll have lunch at one of the local restaurants. Then go on a one-mile hike to the Horseshoe Bend overlook. The overlook offers majestic views of the Colorado River below.
