Start motorerne og kør nogle nervepirrende runder på Las Americas gokartbane. Kør mod venner og familie på denne 850 m lange udendørsbane, og se hvem der kommer i pole position i et grandprix-lignende løb. Og med specialdesignede gokarts, der passer til voksne, juniorer og børn, kan alle være med.

Tenerifes bedste gokartbane har familiehygge på alle leder og kanter. Voksne kan finde ud af, hvem der er fartkonge eller fartdronning med et løb mod hinanden rundt på den 850 meter lange bane, mens de yngre kan være med på gokarts, der er egnet til 7-10-årige. Der er også mulighed for en 2-sæders gokart, som en voksen og et barn kan køre i sammen.

Efter en hurtig sikkerhedsbriefing fra en ekspertinstruktør bliver du udstyret med en hjelm og er klar til at køre. Det er den perfekte oplevelse for alle, der nogensinde har drømt om at blive mester F1.

Karts for the kids wasnt fast enough as my son didnt really enjoy it he would have rather had an adult kart.. but overall it was good fun..we do come from a racing background so my boy currently rides 400cc karts home ??

It was good that adults could race with kids at the same time but no safety briefing. The man who handed out helmets and showed us to karts did so without saying a word. No explanation of flag meanings etc and when one crashed and blocked bend they walked over to help without stopping rest of us.

Although I didn’t get a follow up to my request to transfer to another hotel, we managed to settle with what we had and enjoyed the rest of the holiday

It's one pretty village after another on this exclusive tour in the rugged northwest of Tenerife. We'll drop in at a roll call of the island's must-visits. Christian, one of our local experts, says, ‘A guide shows you around the park in Icod de los Vinos and gives you the lowdown on its fascinating dragon tree, which is 20 metres tall.' Santiago del Teide, local speciality tasting and a trip to Teno Rural Park are also part of the line-up.You'll journey through Santiago del Teide, a highland village of whitewashed homes. In Icod de Los Vinos, you'll admire the centuries-old dragon tree, with some free time to wander around the town. Garachico – often called the ‘prettiest and unluckiest' – awaits with some interesting history. Devastated by a volcanic eruption in 1706 and rebuilt on its lava, it's now famous for natural lava pools, guarded by a volcanic rock castle, where locals and visitors alike come to bathe. When it's time to take a break, there's a tasty local lunch, served in a family-run restaurant in a traditional finca. Teno Rural Park showcases the island's rich biodiversity and is known as the source of Tenerife's top-quality natural produce. You'll even get to try some locally made marmalades and jams, all produced with a minimum carbon footprint. The ‘lost hamlet' of Masca is also on the cards, one of Tenerife's most eye-catching spots, dramatically perched on a ridge overlooking a valley.
